SCIYON Listed Among National Excellence-Level Smart Factories

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the 2026 Excellence-Level Smart Factory list, and SCIYON's "Flexible Manufacturing Smart Factory for High-End Control Systems" was successfully selected, placing it in the first tier of national intelligent manufacturing.

The Excellence-Level Smart Factory is a high-level honor under the Smart Factory Gradient Cultivation Action jointly implemented by six ministries and commissions — MIIT, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Data Administration — representing the leading level of intelligent manufacturing in China. SCIYON's inclusion in this list marks that its intelligent manufacturing level has received national-level authoritative recognition.

As a leading domestic industrial control enterprise and a national manufacturing single champion, SCIYON has built its Flexible Manufacturing Smart Factory for High-End Control Systems. Guided by the orientation of "dual-self-reliance closed-loop iteration, flexible intelligent manufacturing empowering industrial control upgrading," it has established the iMIS integrated digital-intelligent operations platform. Centering on the manufacturing characteristics of industrial control equipment such as DCS, PLC, and SIS — multiple varieties, small batches, and high reliability — it has built an overall architecture featuring "dual self-reliance in product manufacturing, a connected digital thread, and support for four types of flexibility." Relying on its self-developed real-time database, the EmpoworX Industrial Internet Platform, and its AI model and agent system, it has consolidated an independent, controllable digital foundation.

The factory connects the data thread through PLM, MBOM, ERP, SRM, WMS, and CRM, unifying basic data standards for materials, process versions, BOMs, and work orders; it drives full-process workshop production management with MES, integrates WMS and warehouse scheduling, and links process design, AI visual inspection, and flexible testing systems, making the card and cabinet assembly processes transparent and controllable; it unifies customer opportunities and order management through CRM, and coordinates upstream suppliers through SRM. All business systems are interconnected, linking the entire chain of R&D, procurement, planning, manufacturing, testing, and operation and maintenance, forming a closed loop of "planning—execution—verification—feedback—iteration." Leveraging manufacturing and on-site operational data to continuously feed the product knowledge base, it promotes process optimization and product upgrading, supporting the high-quality intelligent manufacturing transformation and upgrading of domestically produced industrial control equipment.

Being rated as an Excellence-Level Smart Factory is an important milestone in SCIYON's practice of the manufacturing powerhouse strategy and its consolidation of independent and controllable capabilities across the industrial control industry chain.
