New support has been added to energy security! SCIYON's independently controllable NT6000 has successfully completed the "double commissioning" of the 2×1000MW secondary reheat power generation project at Jiangsu Guoxin Binhai Port.
At 0:08 on April 15, 2025, the NT6000 distributed control system, which is 100% independently controllable by SCIYON, successfully assisted the No. 4 unit of the Jiangsu Guoxin Binhai Port 2×1000MW high-efficiency and clean coal-fired power generation Project in passing the 168-hour trial operation in one go and was officially put into commercial operation.

So far, SCIYON has successfully completed the "double commissioning" of Jiangsu Guoxin Group's first 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation project that adopts an independently controllable DCS system. This has added significant support for Jiangsu Guoxin Group to take the lead in implementing the new energy security strategy and also injected strong impetus into energy security and green development in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The Jiangsu Guoxin Binhai Port 2×1000MW high-efficiency Clean Coal-fired Power project is a key energy project in Jiangsu Province's 14th Five-Year Plan, with a total investment of approximately 8.8 billion yuan. The project adopts the most advanced double-reheat ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation technology in China at present, which has the advantages of high parameters, low coal consumption, strong peak shaving capacity and ultra-clean emissions, and all performance indicators reach the national benchmark level. Unit 3 was successfully completed and put into operation on December 11, 2024, injecting strong impetus into energy supply for the peak winter period in Jiangsu Province. Unit 4 was completed and put into operation 15 days ahead of schedule after successfully completing seven milestones including boiler ignition, turbine turning and grid connection at one go.
At present, Jiangsu Guoxin Binhai Port Power Generation Co., Ltd. has a total installed capacity of 2 million kilowatts and an annual power generation capacity of 10 billion kilowatt-hours, which is of great significance for enhancing the provincial energy supply guarantee capacity, optimizing the regional power layout of Jiangsu Province, and facilitating the construction of the new power system.

By adopting unit-unit units (including DCS, DEH, ETS, MEH, METS, etc.) and integrated public utility design, the Guoxin Binhai Port project has achieved full process autonomy and control, ensured stable operation of the units, enhanced peak shaving capacity of the power grid, and provided a strong guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

During the construction period of the project, SCIYON worked closely with all parties involved in the construction, working overtime to complete all tasks with extremely high efficiency and quality. All major milestones were accomplished ahead of schedule. During the installation and commissioning process, the SCIYON project team firmly adhered to SCIYON's "Five Ones" business philosophy, overcame difficulties with high standards and strict requirements, and continuously deepened process management and strengthened service support. Both parties actively created value through collaboration, not only laying a solid foundation for the successful conclusion of the project, but also strengthening the foundation for the subsequent safe and stable production of the power plant.
From Guoxin Binhai Port to Guoxin Shazhou and then to Guoxin Jingjiang, SCIYON and Jiangsu Guoxin Group, taking "safeguarding energy security" as their mission, are working together to create many high-quality projects of independently controllable million-kilowatt units. At present, SCIYON's independently controllable control systems have been widely applied in many national and local energy groups such as Datang Group, State Power Investment Corporation, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Coal Group, Guangdong Energy, Zhejiang Energy Group, Jiangsu Guoxin, Beijing Energy Group, Anhui Energy Group, and Guizhou Energy.
